For Florida certified family mediators

The couple arrives prepared. You mediate the two things they can’t agree on. We do the forms.

The JusticeXpress Mediation Platform is a service, not software you have to learn. Before your first session you receive both spouses’ positions side by side and both financial affidavits. After your last session you send us a term sheet. Our staff assemble the Florida Supreme Court approved forms and the petitioner files. There is no login, no subscription, and no fee to you.

Most couples who come to a mediator through JusticeXpress have already settled most of their divorce. What they need from you is an hour or two on the short list they’re stuck on. The platform’s job is to make sure you know exactly what that list is before you meet them, and to turn what you settle into court-ready forms afterward, without you drafting anything.

How a case moves, start to finish

Six steps. Two of them are yours.

1
The couple

Each spouse answers the same questions, privately

Each spouse opens their own account on JusticeXpress and completes a structured questionnaire covering property, debts, timesharing, support, insurance, and taxes, plus a financial affidavit. Neither can see the other’s answers. Structured choices and figures, not essays.

2
The couple

They choose you from the directory

The couple contacts you directly, agrees to your fee, and pays you. Then they tell us which mediator they’ve engaged. We are not involved in that conversation and take no part of your fee.

3
JusticeXpress

We send you the comparison packet

Our staff run both questionnaires through a comparison that marks every term Agreed, Gap, or Open, grouped by the sections of the marital settlement agreement and parenting plan. You receive that report and both financial affidavits by secure transfer, usually within one business day.

4
You

You mediate the gaps, on your own video platform

The Agreed items are done. You spend the session on the Gap and Open items only. You decide when and how the spouses see the comparison. The child support guidelines worksheet is completed in your session from the affidavits, the way you do it now.

5
You

You send back a term sheet

We give you a one-page-per-section template that mirrors the comparison. For every Gap and Open item you record the agreed value. Both spouses sign it. You email it to us. That’s the end of your involvement unless the couple asks for more.

6
JusticeXpress

We assemble, review, and the petitioner files

Our staff enter the term sheet into the couple’s case and assemble the Florida Supreme Court approved forms: marital settlement agreement, parenting plan, petition, answer and waiver, UCCJEA affidavit, and the rest of the uncontested packet. A nonlawyer clerical review checks completeness and consistency. The petitioner downloads and files.

What we’re asking of you, and what you get

Nothing about how you mediate changes. Only what arrives before and what leaves after.

We ask you to

  • Hold current Florida Supreme Court family mediator certification
  • Mediate online, by Zoom or another video platform
  • Publish your fee on your listing
  • Work from the comparison packet on platform cases
  • Return the signed term sheet when the couple settles
  • Respond to inquiries within two business days

You get

  • A free, permanent listing in a curated directory
  • Couples referred from JusticeXpressFlorida.com, our self-help site for divorcing Floridians
  • Intake and affidavits done before session one
  • A clear, short list of what’s actually in dispute
  • No drafting. Ever.
  • Your full fee, paid to you, with nothing owed to us

Where the line is

JusticeXpress is a nonlawyer document preparation service. These are the boundaries we hold, so you know what to expect.

The platform does

  • Record each spouse’s stated positions
  • Show where they agree and where they don’t
  • Complete Florida Supreme Court approved forms from the terms you record as agreed
  • Check the packet for completeness and consistency
  • Keep each spouse’s private answers private from the other

The platform does not

  • Give legal advice to either spouse, or to you
  • Assess whether any term is fair or likely to be approved
  • Calculate child support or alimony
  • Draft language, or ask you to draft language
  • Refer, rank, or steer couples toward any mediator

The comparison is a field-by-field match of two questionnaires. No case content is put into any artificial intelligence tool, and none is used to train one. Mediation communications remain subject to Chapter 44, Florida Statutes.

Free. Not for a year. Free.

We earn our revenue from the couple’s document package. We will never earn it from you.

No listing fee

Not at application, not at renewal, not later. The listing agreement says so in a section that can’t be amended without your consent.

No per-case fee

Take one platform case or fifty. Nothing changes for you. No money moves between JusticeXpress and any mediator, in either direction.

Your fee is yours

You set it, you publish it, the couple pays you. We never see it, hold it, or share in it.

What mediators ask

Do I have to learn a system?

No. You receive a PDF packet by secure transfer, you mediate the way you already do, and you return a term sheet by email. There is no portal to log into and nothing to configure.

Do I have to take platform cases to be listed?

No. You can be listed for directory contacts only. Couples who find you that way work with you exactly as they would from any other directory.

Who drafts the marital settlement agreement?

No one, in the sense you mean. Our staff complete the Florida Supreme Court approved MSA and parenting plan forms from the values on your signed term sheet, the same way a nonlawyer document preparer completes any approved form from information supplied in writing.

What if the couple doesn’t settle?

You’ve mediated and been paid. The couple has paid $99 for the intake and comparison and owes nothing further. No documents are assembled. They can return later if things change.

Can I use the comparison for a couple I already have?

Yes. If a couple already in your practice wants their forms handled, send them to JusticeXpress to complete the questionnaires and name you as their mediator. You’ll receive the packet the same way.

Is this a referral service?

No. Couples choose from a directory listed alphabetically by county. We don’t assign cases, rank for pay, or steer. No fee passes between JusticeXpress and any mediator.

Be the mediator they find.

A ten-minute application. We verify your certification with the Dispute Resolution Center and publish your listing. The first platform cases go to mediators who are listed when the couples arrive.
